SM TRADING, a privately owned company, was established in 1988, as a paper converter in Kuching,Malaysia by Mohamed A. El-Erian. The company has gone through a promising growth during the last years.

SM TRADING is fully integrated paper manufacturer of quality Paper and Tissue products, with four strategically located state of the art manufacturing facilities in Sarawak City, Kuching, Malaysia.

At SM TRADING, our goal is to be a leading supplier of quality tissue and towel products. Our commitment is to maintain the highest standards of performance in every area of our business as well as provide exceptional service to our customers.

Today, SM Trading has come a long way from its humble beginnings, employing more than 300 people and producing over 70,000 tons of A4 paper. In addition to offering a broad range of dispensing systems, we are a leading supplier of quality A4 copy paper products for both the at home and away from home markets.
